a room full of some of San Antonio's hardest working grassroots community leaders!
We look forward to seeing you there!
"The servant-leader is servant first… It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve, to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead. That person is sharply different from one who is leader first, perhaps because of the need to assuage an unusual power drive or to acquire material possessions…The leader-first and the servant-first are two extreme types. Between them there are shadings and blends that are part of the infinite variety of human nature."
-Robert K. Greenleaf in The Servant as Leader
If you are unable to join us, consider supporting, at any level, the only organization providing leadership development services to community leaders working in San Antonio's most economically disadvantaged communities.

Community Leadership Institute
CLI provides transformational servant leadership development programs through the annual Leadership Institute, the Executive Leadership program, and specialized trainings.
The Leadership Institute is CLI's Core Program for grassroots community leaders living/working/volunteering in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods in San Antonio. Each year up to 31 participants are accepted in a tuition-free experiential leadership development program. As a requirement of the Leadership Institute, three community group projects are designed, coordinated and carried out by the participants in the areas of Youth Development, Financial Literacy and the Enviroment.
CLI 2011 Community Group Projects include:
National Night Out at the Mirasol Homes with a Youth Development Theme
National Night Out at the Hemisphere Park with a Sustainable Living Practices Theme
Financial Literacy Workshops at Cafe College for 1st Generation College Students
Thank you CLI 2011 and CLI Alumni for your continued service to your community!
